I just think sooner or later Cole slows down (mind you I said the same before last year) and I think Pacioretty just caught fire and had one of those seasons where everything he shot went in somehow... not 100% convinced he can repeat it, same for DD.
and... was anyone else good? - basementfloor
I think it would be tough being worse than last year.
I agree with you for the most part. I'm skeptical that whole line can repeat what they did, but both Pax and DD are young so who knows.
The part I disagree with is Price and Subban, I think both have the potential to be stars.
It doesn't take much to be middle of the pack in the NHL. |

I think Cole will have another year, maybe 2 with top 6 potential and then will make a good third liner. He's big and hits, and can be some great secondary scoring in the last half of the contract. By that time, we should be able to replace him with a young guy. - CaseysHabs

That would be fine, as long as Therrien doesn't like him as much as Jacques Martin did and give him more PP time than Eller or even Cole got early in the year - Kenny_Mac
Then Cunney did the same, pretty much. |

Cole Pacioretty and DD should be a good second line
40-50 point average - Oilhab
This.
They are a great second line, but we need to find a top line... either by finding wingers for Pleks, or eventually dropping one of the small centres. |

Great idea. The more frenchies the better.
It'll make it the hardest arena in league to play.
The whole place and surrounding area will smell like cabbage. |

If Gretzky is a poopty coach, then maybe Breezer can be a good one.

It's true, the players that needed to most coaching while playing usually turn around and make it work behind the bench. I only worry because none of the coaching ever seemed to get through to Briseboise |
