Wonder who he will play with in Hamilton, no depth at center in the AHL.
- Symba007

He wants to play with Bournival and Gallagher.

Here is one of the few places I don't have an avatar, and I doubt she'd ever see this anyway.

Don't know, it seems to be made out of some cheap material.

He is more the power forward type.

Centers in the AHL this year

Bournival
Nattinen
Engqvist

and some other plug

- Symba007

Nattinen is alright. Had a pretty good end of the the season.

Holland is a center, not sure Bournival will be used as so.

You could also add Fortier, who by most accounts will get resigned, there could also be a chance Dustin Walsh turns pro.

if by burning you mean 10 goal, 15 assists in 71 games in the AHL last year, the Habs are in BIG BIG BIG BIG trouble. He is 24 years old, he will never be more than a possible 4th line guy in the NHL IMO.

As for Bournival, let's see if he can stay healthy until xmas, that should be his first goal.

- Symba007

He had 43 pts in 60 games in Hamilton last year.

Bournival is indeed one of the most ready prospects, has the skating ability and the two-way awareness to play in the NHL already, it all depends on who they sign, as I wouldn't be against having him in the NHL, unlike Leblanc last year and Gallagher, who are/were not ready, both with their skating ability and their physical status. Gallagher's closer than Leblanc was last year though.

Which should equate to about 15 in the NHL in 82 games, if we are lucky.

I was just correcting his numbers, not saying he'll destroy the NHL. If it were on me, he wouldn't be back.

Leblanc is the most NHL ready. He can handle third line duties already.
- AdamFrench

I was telling the guys around here just that last year, and was treated as a homer. Sounds like I was right afterall.

Same with Emelin.

I don't know what's the obsession though to have a 'big center'.

If we have a guy talented enough and with a good work-ethic, it won't matter if he's 5'11.

IF Timmins doesnt draft a center his chances of taking two in the dome rises considerably over the next season or so...

Gallagher will have a great camp and still be in Hamilton in the beginning of the season.
- shinebox

Thing is the right wing spots are pretty much filled (Gionta, Cole, Leblanc). And you can't the little bugger 5 to 10 minutes a game on the 4th line. While I love his competitiveness and his non-stop attitude, he's not the ideal 4th liner either, and I think you'll agree with me.

IMO, he's gonna be the first one called up if it's one of those three guys that get injured.

If it's a center or a LW or a 4th liner, Bournival will get the call.

Toews you (frank)ing tard. And when you have two superstar centers back to back and one who is a (frank)ing human highlight reel, and is a Selke magnet, you can manage to get buy without a big center.
