He is more the power forward type.

Centers in the AHL this year

Bournival
Nattinen
Engqvist

and some other plug

- Symba007

Enqvist was good in the AHL last season and Bournival's a special player IMO. I believe he's one of our prospects the closest to making it to the nhl.

No way he is around next season, they don't need the distraction and they need the cap space.
- Symba007

I know all that obviously but his contract is a gigantic problem even if they move him to the AHL that'll still represent millions of dollars the Molsons are paying to an AHL'er.

if by burning you mean 10 goal, 15 assists in 71 games in the AHL last year, the Habs are in BIG BIG BIG BIG trouble. He is 24 years old, he will never be more than a possible 4th line guy in the NHL IMO.

As for Bournival, let's see if he can stay healthy until xmas, that should be his first goal.

Might be right, I say let him play in Hamilton anyways. With everyone heading there they stand a much better chance of going somewhere than Montreal next year. Let him get used to playing with the other guys.

Agreed, by "closest to the NHL" i didnt mean he should be on the team next year, i'd like to see what he can do in the AHL first.

Leblanc is the most NHL ready. He can handle third line duties already.

Gallagher will have a great camp and still be in Hamilton in the beginning of the season.

Nothing wrong with Gallagher spending part or all the season in Hamilton. He would be one of the first to be called up in case of injury. He will get bigger/stronger and learn to play at a higher level, he will only be better when he will join the big club. He will also get to play with a few kids that will eventually join the Habs with him.

I doubt very much that Gallagher lacks Cam-fidence.

He may as well get used to it there, cause he likely will be spending his entire career there. Bar injuries.

nope but he could use more strength, he will play against must bigger/stronger opponents, nothing wrong with a transition via the AHL before he makes the big jump. He will definitely challenge for a spot with the Habs.

Looking at the habs (frank)ing lineup he is already better than at least a few players.
