I went back and looked for it, guess that's why I couldn't find it

If Galchenyuk and Murray are gone, I can't imagine they'd pass on that high-end kind of skill. Hope it's not because his name is "Mikhail Grigorenko" and not "Mike Gregory".

Found it at this address. http://www.mynhltraderumo...m/tag/new-york-islanders/

Nothing there other than what I posted. I didnt realize it was a week old when I 1st posted it

I could maybe understand it if he were currently playing in Russia, but he came all the way to NA to play major Jr., I think it's fairly obvious he wants to play here.

Indeed. Sounds like Forsberg might be the guy if Murray is gone.

How about the reports that he's LAZY? Doesnt give 100% effort. Takes shifts off?

Tough to pass on the talent if Murray is gone. I have no idea though on these kids. Glad it's not up to me.

Just the Isles luck. I hope it's not Adam Larsson part II.

I thought that said takes shirts off

If you have the time (and the interest) I'd take it and read the article I'll link to for probably the most extensive coverage on Grigorenko you'll find. Literally everything about his game gets addressed. The article is long, so if you want to skip to the part about laziness, character, etc... it starts in the 6th paragraph down and gets covered really well.

By all accounts (that I've seen) he's not. From the same website/draft-guy I linked to above... "While Murray does not project as an elite prospect, he has a low risk tag on his projection. He will be the kind of player to log over 20 minutes a game while playing tough minutes against the opposition's best players while still managing to put up impressive possession numbers."

I hear you, he's certainly the best in the class... that's indisputable. If he were Larsson, I'd want him over Galchenyuk and probably even Grigorenko.

Lots of really good "D" men go later in the draft. Weber was in the 2nd rd. Dustin Byfuglien was like a 7th rd pick. Chara went in the 3rd rd.

I'm not gonna lose sleep if we dont get Murray at #4.

There are other highly regarded "D" in the draft.

This year I'm not going to strain my brain trying to figure what the Isles are gonna do.

If he has a Boston accent I don't want him. Most annoying accent ever.

Couldn't have been happier that Scott Allen was fired..I literally muted the TV every time they interviewed him during the 2nd intermission.

It is a painful accent. I dated a Boston girl, smoking hot. Just wish she didn't talk so much

2 options:

1) overpay $5 Million for a player that had a career year and doesnt project to be more than what he was this past year?
2) overpay $8 Million for a player that has proven to be successful and significantly better than player A?

Option 2 is a great option but since when have the isles been able to do that?

I'm far from an expert but Forsberg sounds like he could be a player. Isles would have to wait for him though from what I hear.
