I posted it numerous times, once the other day. I have nothing to prove to you. You don't make the rules and regs on hockeybuzz. Once you realize that you don't make rules in real life(or hockeybuzz for that matter) I think your own life will become a lot easier for you. Just a hunch.

You aren't talking Islanders hockey, you are dictating what other people should be talking about and whether it is the kind of "Islanders hockey" you want to talk about. If it's not what you consider important than it's not relevant in your world. The problem is in other peoples worlds(the rest of the world)it is important, fun, or stupid and no one cares that you don't find it important. We(me and my henchmen)were talking Islanders hockey, just not what you wanted to hear.

So would I but I don't think he's a power forward? He doesn't play that kind of game. As far as him causing some chaos in front of the net I have not seen that yet in any sense. I don't have a problem with him honestly, I just don't think he's going to be this "power forward" a lot of people are expecting. 25 goal forward I think is a good estimation which I'm fine with. If we could trade him in a package for a top 2 Dman or forward with more upside I wouldn't be upset with that either as well as keeping him.

I see it as a strong player who uses his size and strength to drive to the net and physically win battles along the boards and in corners. Okposo failed big time to deliver that this past season. He was trying to dance around people and wasn't consistently winning those battles in the corners. But he played a much more effective power-type game particularly in 09-10. I feel like he's being judged entirely on the most recent disappointment of a season. He won't ever be the guy destroying people with hits or fighting all comers, but I don't think that's critical for a power forward...welcome, but not critical to play an effective physical game.

Weak on the boards? Wow, I really remember things differently in 09-10. I remember Tavares being the one on that line who would get pushed aside easily along the boards that year (not anymore though!). KO was a player I always felt comfortable that he'd emerge with the puck. Again, not so at all this season.
