I can see them trading down and grabbing a couple of third rounders. That way they can say Garth made a trade and is an agressive GM. |

I love how every hockey person on IPB calls Garth an agressive GM. |

Cannot see what is not there. Hopefully after this summer we can call Garth an agressive GM. |

the only hope i hold out for KO lack of production was the really tough shoulder injury; maybe he was healed physically but his play was effected by not getting in the dirty areas to not get injured....again, definitely excuses but anyone who has had a significant injury in their life knows there is something behind it.
i hope the offseason he becomes totally healed and becomes the player he is built to be...if not, (frank) him - LetsGoIsles
Let's not forget that, with KO, in his rookie season (18g, 39pts) and the season after (19g, 52pts), most of us felt like KO was on his way to becoming the player we'd hoped he'd be. Maybe we wanted a few more goals in that second season, but most were generally happy with how he approached the game. Then he was derailed the next season with the injury and this season, despite the late points surge, left a lot to be desired. I guess my point is that before the injury, he was consistently one of the better players on the ice for the Isles even when he didn't put points up. That wasn't the case after the injury. So it's not like he's been a disappointment his entire time on the Isles. I think he deserves a bit more time. |

those comments arent even witty....based on these smiley faces i could picture what an HB get-together would look like...group of guys in a circle LAUGHING THEIR HEADS OFF and me looking directly into the camera with a what-did-i-miss look, why-am-i-not-finding-it-THAT-funny? - LetsGoIsles

Jeremy Roenick called Snow agressive during the last interview I saw on IPB. No details given to back it up. There was someone else before JR I think it might have been Craig Button who said it. I stopped watching IPB interviews. |

Then it must be E-5 that the Leafs land him. |

No question. I just hope Parise signs with someone quick and it's not a month long saga. |

Parise to the Island would be greatest thing. I know it will not happen. How great would it be to finally land the top free agent? |

It's just that he does little to nothing for most of the time(actually all the time)so when he does do something(anything) it looks aggressive. Going from 0-60 looks fast if you do it in a shorter time and especially if you don't do it often... |

Point taken. I remember when Montoya was playing well last season they were saying, Oh, Sudsie noticed something with his skates and fixed it and it's made him a lot more balanced, allowing him to make all of these saves. Now that he's gone, he's the reason Montoya was bad this season. - UIF
When Montoya came from San Antonio AHL in Feb 2011 and had that horrible debut in relief against Buffalo the Isles goalie coaches saw he was turning his pads in when making saves (likely Sudsie and or Dunham) fixed the problem.
Sudsie was here all of 2011-12 and Montoya struggled.
Mike Palmateer was a goaltending coach here, so was Billy Smith. Coaches come and go, just because they leave does not mean they are not good. |

All you need to do is show me a pic of DP or Wang or Snow or the whole Islander team. I would laugh my butt off |
