I think Murray is going 1 or 2. Which means Galchenyuk is available for Montreal, and I think they'll take him over Forsberg if they have the choice.

Wise words spoken today....

"When you are picking high, you are really looking for dynamic offense"

I remember watching a game in the late 90's between the Kings and Flyers and Barry Melrose said "The key for the Kings is they need to find a way to score some goals and they need to stop the Flyers from scoring." That type of analysis suggests this guy was well before his time.

You're probably right. Lowe as a big semi for him though, and the Oilers really should.

I remember a guy in college telling us if women would sleep with him, he'd be getting more tail than any of us.

This is true. I guess I just see them right back in the same situation next year if they don't address D.

Not much to do though except trade down, tough call.

I think a lights out, explosive offense will help improve things.

And theres other ways to adress defence than using a #1 pick to do it.

It helps for sure, but if you ask me they already had that in stock over the next few years. They could look at some trades over the summer though, but I would think it would cost them something from up front.

On a serious note, there are some people who won't attend a wedding if there isn't alcohol available. A friend of mine and his wife (who never drank and didn't want him to either) decided as a couple (no, it was her) that they wanted to have a dry wedding and advertised as such on their invitations. They got hate mail back basically telling them off and that a wedding isn't about them... which was comical in its own right. Anyways, they caved and allowed it.

I ended up at a dry wedding once at a golf club, a guy's hot mom was buying our table drinks and shots all night. The bride tried to get them to shut down the bar but the members in the lounge would not allow it thankfully. We got stink eye from everyone and have never spoken to the bride or groom again, totally worth it.
