Yeah. I'm not necessarily a Stan Fischler hater or anything but there's nothing like having the Greater Metropolitan Area shoved down your throat for all those games. Chico Resch is also a huge homer...

That said, it seems that Andy Brickley is everywhere too. His 'chowder' accent should be considered an embarrassment to any broadcast...

I do too, but my only fear is that, being a year-round show, you can run out of content real fast, especially in the offseason.

Wasn't the original idea behind that to broadcast some road games in HD, when the Sabres weren't in HD for all games? I didn't like it either, but one good thing did come out of those broadcasts. It did show how far behind the Sabres were in presentation quality, at least with the Rangers and Devils.

Ted Black should take notes from the team that just won the cup instead of worring about who the hell is going to be in the booth calling the games. Because radio shows and guys in the booth win the cup all the time.

That Jeff Carter guy isn't a bad player.

Great news for the blades. Kevin Syl is a fine intermission host, but poop, Duffer is easily one of the best in the league. I'm also thrilled for Rob, he deserves it after providing more actual analysis than Rick and Harry combined last year (probably last two years). As for RJ, he'll be welcome back in the booth as long as he damn well pleases.

Great job by the organization giving everybody what they want and need... (except for Sylvester, I'm sure he'd rather be in game, but a 2 hour daily radio spot is pretty nice.)

I'm surprised RJ is taking on more games . Plus signing a multi year deal. I thought we were all doomed with him hinting on retirement .
