i really hope you're right. seeing all these ex-flyers just continue to win elsewhere is becoming unbearable.

Favre hasn't been a Packer "for a while now", but will- regardless- always be a Packer.

Gagne will always be a Flyer. Always

Thats because he's a class act, and the 2nd best two-way player in the game. I can justify your Carter trade but trading Richards was (frank)ing ridiculous. IMO you guys would have been in the Stanley Cup Final if you didn't make that trade.

Anyways you still have a nice young upcoming team. I wish the Habs had your young guns

Yeah, I'm not bitter but it's pretty weird.

I genuinely happy for them. Rooted for some of them for decades. It's not the same as a Flyers win, it's nice to see a guy like Hexy or Gagne win it.

Except when he's not. He just won a cup with LA. He's a King forever now.

i like our team. i was happy with the trades then, and despite what we just witnessed, i'm happy with them now. even if the flyers keep richards, they don't make the final this year. too many injuries, not enough defense, and not good enough in the net.

It really boggles the mind that Richards has won at every level, except where the fans here care about. And he won everywhere else in far less time.

This doesn't change anything. I loved Carter and Richards as players. Not surprised to see them raise the Cup. But it takes a team. They aren't Flyers anymore. And I like our team.

honestly, if Richards and Carter were on the Flyers this year would we have won the cup? I doubt it.

I doubt we would have gotten any further than we did.

So what you're saying is if he didn't win here, he won somewhere else.

You may be on to something here.
