Eklund and his identity are confidential. No one knows. There was word that someone in the White House leaked information about his identity, but the administration is denying these rumors.

I think we should drop the subject.

If Parise was indeed interested in the Flyers, one way to entice him would be to sign Suter, as they are very tight.

If the Flyers could move JVR for a package of picks, and moved on from Carle they could make it work cap wise.

why wouldn't the Flyers be the team of the future with the young talent they have already? Also he's not exactly playing with a true number one now.
- JoeRussomanno

A balanced team would look more promising IMO. Plus with all the offensive pieces that could take ice time from Parise. But its just my opinion.

If I were Homer, after I got that number 1 d-man I would tell Parise that Lavi plays the system that offensive guys like him have been dying to play in. Tell him that no-one is more committed to winning then the Flyers, and we are in a position to do it for the foreseeable future, and having a guy like Parise would be just great.

Hey Coffee Junkie... I like your name... Do you have a Kuerig? I'm sure if your a coffee junkie you do. What flavors do you get?
- RooNosHockey

I don't mean to sound like a jerk but god no I don't have a kuerig, wasteful as sin. Individual coffee servings in plastic? The answer to the question: how do we screw the environment, I guess. Local, organic, fair trade, free range (that's a joke) coffee for this junkie. Wawa (while none of the above) has a special place in my heart of course.

Nicely done. With that 1.85M why not sign a Moen or other FO specialist? I am also a bit sad there are no R handed D men on that squad. But still, nicely done.

Then the following year we lose Kimmo and Hartsy and sign Weber! Is there an application for the GM job? I'm going to apply.

That looks great! Basically, it's Carle, Jagr and JVR for Parise & Suter. There's good Cap space left and Kimmo's 6.5 falls off the following year. Eventually G and Jake will be getting increases. G's probably 2X his current hit and Couts will be off his ELD in 2 years. But for the next two, that's a squad that will tear it up, IMO.

outside of Giroux and Couturier I don't see Parise having to worry about losing icetime too. Really it shouldn't even matter with those two because he's a winger and they are centers.

Not to mention, the Flyers can re-stock their pipeline with a package of picks that JVR could land. If teams didn't have to give up roster players they would part with picks galore for JVR. 20 games of a washed up Pavel Kubina was worth a second round pick.

Didnt you get the memo. Homer is in Nashville talking trades for Weber as long as that bum JVR gets his butt under the "kriffing" knife.

I'm with you and I like both JVR and Carle, but that is a stronger team. Maybe Holmer can get a few extra 2's to pawn off for a Nolan Baumgarner type
