So you know for a fact that Shero wouldnt want Vanek?? Or Stafford?? Both 30 goal scorers, or ennis who would be electrifying in Pitts lineup. It might not make sense to you but I have said this a few times, The pens will add a top six winger to play with Crosby, If Neal can score 40 with Malkin, Vanek can score 50 with Crosby. To say Buffalo has nothing to offer is an absolute joke. Our defense prospects and regualrs are flat out better than yours not to mention the 2 first rounders. Stop acting like you know what Shero is thinking. Your defense and goaltending were a disgrace in the playoffs, they added a goalie, now they will be looking for some defense. Also if they are in such a "win now" mode and wont accept draft picks, why would you be relying on your prospect defenseman instead of trying to add a veteran. You mean to tell me that Shero would have no interest in deal involving a veteran defensman such as Sekera, Regehr, Leopold, Weber?? Im not saying the 2 teams are a match made in heaven, but to suggest there is not a scenario where a deal could be made is wrong
