Pietrangelo is awesome. I dont think he is a Norris canidate yet. I just think they have been put in a really good spot to succeed. I think Hitchcock would love Staal, he seems to like big forwards like Berglund and Stewart. Although Stewart had a down year under him.

Look to Minnesota to cough up the most for Staal. Plays for his former assistant coach and assistant GM.

Its hard to argue when they are putting up a ton of points in a defensive system without any notable offensive talents (good all around forwards, sure). They were third and fourth on the team in points and are still incredibly young.

Also, NY also plays defensive system, wouldn't their defensmen be just as aided by it?

i just dont see BUF and PIT as trading partners. Hodgson is pretty much the only NOW piece that interests me.

i see CHI, MIN, CAR, and possibly a mystery team as potential suitors.

They pay a premium because one, Crosby is the best the game has ever seen. Ill say that i dont like him the perosn. Two Malkin on his game is Top 5 player in the league offensively.
