Yes, that 8th seed. Stop looking at the numbers and focus on the performance. Favorites are made by the media, the same media that had the Canucks playing the Penguins in this year's finals. I have no idea why the Canucks were favorites against the Bruins to such a huge extent (which they weren't by the way) that anything less than a series win would mean they were chokers.
