Luke Adam had a ton of grit in the Q and in the AHL, it hasn't translated well yet to the big leagues but I think he can develop it as he gets bigger. It's the size and skill set (big shot) when comparing to Adam, with Foligno...well you know he's nuts.

Ok, that makes sense. I sure hope Adam can develope a little grit to his game. He showed early last season he could be an effective player puting up early points but he trailed off after the first quarter of the season. It didn't help that Ruff started pushing him further down the depth chart and eventually back to Rochester. My major question is if he is in the organizations plans going forward. We have Ennis looking to be a capable top 6 center, and now with Hodgson in the mix and obviously Roy as well. I would imagine either Roy, Adam or both could be on their way out with the focus being on bringing in a different center. Should be interesting to see how that plays out.

thanks for the clarification

That would likely be Girgensons or Gaunce. Gaunce is likely a gritter Brooks Laich 20-25 kind of guy.

Spoiler at 16 I have them drafting a forward.

I'd like to have either of those two in the system, Both seem like great leaders which this organization seems to lack . Any chance they package both picks to try and move up a few spots and grab Faska

Girgensons would be a player I'd like to see with the oilers. The more depth the better. However I like the players that buffalo has drafted. Players that represent the city. Blue collar hard working players. Buffalo is the Edmonton of the USA, don't worry not making reference to the team being last . I hope Hodgson flourishes with you guys. Girg behind coho is a good set up. You guys should target another big winger with your other first and a goalie with the second rounder. But leave us dansk or subban

I was kinda hoping Subban would be around for our 2nd rounder, but I doubt he will. Not even sure a goalie would be in the list of needed position. We have a fairly deep crew of goalies in the A. However them being projected as NHL starters is hardly close to being realized.

At the 5th spot I'd consider it. If galchenyuk or grig is on the board I would take them. Although drafting grig and knowing his work ethic is in question (read this prior to him getting mono) scares me.

Besides enroth who else do you guys have? Wouldn't hurt to grab one if available although they are hard to predict. Each of the big three have starter potential.

The Sabres followed the trend this offseason, shoring up their depth between the pipes by inking a pair of former sixth rounders in 6’6 Connor Knapp (two-year ELC) and 6’5 Nathan Lieuwen (three-year ELC). Despite fitting the new mold, the magic question remains whether or not either can be labeled “the next one”.

Connor Knapp, David Leggio, Drew McIntyre.

If there's a "good" goalie available they may grab one because I have to assume one of the 3 listed above will be moving on soon, if not before next season.

Edit - I forgot about Lieuwen.

I'm not a fan of Reinhart to be honest. I think I'd take one of the other d-men.

I could see the sens trading away their 15th + (forward prospect) to draft a dman high in the draft, as there is no way either garrison or suter are coming to O-town the way of ufa then i see them doing this or possibly trading that 15+ for a young dman from another team (looking at you bogosian)

How about Rielly?
I played on the same team (15 years before them) so I'm biased.

If Ceci falls outside the top 10, would murray try to trade up to grab him. he seems like exactly the type of d-man that the sens need.

what would it take?

sens trade #15 pick plus prospect (puempel perhaps) for the #10-13ish pick
