problem is...what would the Leafs needs to trade to get both?
- noename09

I think that may be larionov just misspeaking; they can certainly trade up to get one but they're not going to get both unless they trade Kessel or something like that.

Although I do find it interesting that when Pitt moved up from 3rd to 1st to get Fleury, it cost them a 2nd rounder...now people seem to think moving up three or four spots would cost a massive package, I'm not sure where the market is on this kind of move because it doesn't happen very often

I'd say the 4th line is gritty. And the 3rd line has some grit too. I think Frattin & Kadri have the ability to mix it up when they want to.

But like I said, I doubt this will 'actually' happen. It's more likely we'll see Luongo in net next year, and a few hard nose veterans on the 3rd and 4th line.

those guys play with about 80 grit, I want 240 grit sandpaper

Gardiner plus to Oilers for their 1st, almost guarranteeing that Shultz would sign in Edmonton as well....Leafs 1st plus Komi plus for Isles 1st, or Leafs 1st plus plus for Nash and Jackets 1st....

what if it WASNT....what would it cost Burke to keep our 5th, and go after another top 4?... I cant say Id be against this idea provided we moved pieces we had in excess, such as defense and a goalie named Monster

Dear god, I just pictured the leopard print speedos.

Where's the ipecac?

- LeafMan

Why would you need ipecac?

I don't even know who you were talking about but as soon as I saw "leopard print speedo" I lost my breakfast.

Dude this is not worthy of a fail of the day. It is a simple mix-up.

You need to be a Vancouver fan, or Eklund, to come up with the fail of the day.

Sounds like the parents looked around the room and whatever they seen first they named the kids.

Good thing mother wasn't playing with her dildo.

I don't know, but it would cost more than the Leafs could sustain giving up though...and all the teams above us need a top 5 pick as much as we do, I can't see anything happening. Although, with the Nash thing and other factors in the league in the offseason we may see things shift around in unexpected ways. Should be interesting.
