Jagr looks like he's staying. Not sure about that, but Giroux really wanted him to return.

I think this reinforces a young forward is being dealt for a d-man. I really don't have a problem with it, I think we might be underestimating his importance with some of the younger forwards. I pretty much expect the same production as last year, I don't expect his production to fall off the cliff.

I'll be happy to keep the Czechs.

It's very, very possible that a young winger could be flipped for defense. I'd prefer that to overpaying massively for a FA defenseman.

Svoboda was fearless. Loved that crazy little bastard

Petr would try to get as close to the boards as possible because he felt when he got checked by being so close to the boards he would lessen the chance of injury. He got blasted plenty of times and just kept playing. He was a very underrated Flyer.

Since it is silly season, who would you trade for - Enstrom or Yandle and why?

He missed 50 games over the 3 full seasons he played in Philadelphia. Petal SvoRipken.

Scuderi, Mitchell, and to some extent Gags and Williams.
- bodiva88

Gagne is only 32, Williams 30 (I still can't believe he and gagne are younger than me). Scuderi is 33 and Mitchell is 35. The Flyers have a corps of veterans in that age range without Jagr.

I wouldn't trade a dead Chris Pronger for Radulov

I ain't afraid to admit that I've been rooting for the Devils because seeing fric and frac get reunited and win it all so soon would turn my stomach but my love and appreciation for all that Gagne did here for us is leaps and bounds ahead of that. I want La to win now that he's playing. I'll never forget that game winner against Boston to complete the comeback!

I am not wishing for Rad but it would not suprise me if Homer traded for him and we got him for cheap. I will expect the unexpected in this offseason. Should be interesting to say the least... or shall I say OH MY GUADE

I'm rooting hard for LA. It won't bother me if any of the ex-Flyers players win. None of them asked to be traded. Franchise made a conscious decision that they would be better without them. Time will tell if that is the case.

same.
another thing that just dawned on me is at the turn of the century Gagne and Williams were the heirs apparent of the Flyers and then clarke traded Williams (another one of many Clarke moves I dissagreed with) and now those two are united. On top of that you have the next generation of Flyers franchise players... It just ain't right

I still can't bring myself to root for the Kings ... but it would be seriously cool to see Gagne carry the cup.

Radulov isn't signing in the NHL cheap. He's got massive offers waiting in Russia. He just wanted to get his UFA status, and see if he could get a big offer from a NHL team

I'm already convinced despite the outcome of this series that it was the right move.

all were cap casualties, except jwill, that was a 'we need a defenseman bad' at the deadline move
