Agreed. No interest at all. Stick to the pattern they started last year of adding character guys. We have a great room now, lots of unity. No need for anyone with so little integrity that they a) wouldn't honor a valid contract, and b) stay out until 4 AM drinking at a strip club the night before a playoff game. I don't care what kind of skills he has, we just don't need that crap.

Best part of Timmy P.'s latest on csnphilly about imminent Jagr re-signing:

"Svoboda also said he is optimistic that restricted free agent Jakub Voracek will re-sign without incident around the NHL draft.

Holmgren confirmed that on Wednesday night."

At this rate I guess the Flyers will have the same exact team going into next season.

Not exactly an awful thing. More experienced Schenn, Couturier and Read. More focused and comfortable Bryz. Giroux knowing he's a superduperstar

Not totally against it. Would like to see another defenseman added and possibly the Flyers moving on from Jagr with younger players ready to get more ice time.

I think we could might see a change in backup goalies (slight chance) and the addition of a 4th line center and PK guy (who is also hopefully good at the dot). But not much more than that, which is fine with me.

I don't know if I'm sold on the idea that they'll make a big splash on a F/A d-man. I just don't think the crop is that good this year beyond Suter, and I don't think he is what we need (especially if we keep Carle).

I guess they could still trade for one though...

I don't know how many people remember, but Svoboda was a heck of a defensive d-man who was really undersized. A really good skater, who for his size was really good in the corners. Alright, I'm done with memory lane.

As far as Enstrom, I would rather trade for Enstrom, then sign Suter in free agency. I'm pretty certain is cap hit and terms will be more favorable, and I just wonder how many potential stud d-men are really going to be available this summer even with the Flyers assets at the forward. Enstrom might not be a banger, but the guy can really play in his own end. It is not like their is abundance of talent in Winnipeg, the guy is a really good player.

Jagr looks like he's staying. Not sure about that, but Giroux really wanted him to return.
