Also, not to sound as a know it all, white walkers are not the "undead" per say. They are a separate race of creature. The undead are the humans they turn into their zombie slaves (the "undead").

Books are awesome, you get so much more insight.

Pretty much this. and they only come around when the winter is especially long and cruel.

what the TV series doesn't really make clear is that summers last for years and winters do as well, and that winters where the white walkers come tend to last for decades and the Nights Watch and The Wall only exist because of the white walkers, who are now regarded as a myth because they havent appeared in centuries. so while everyone is bickering and plotting and making civil war humanity's only defence against their threat is now comprised almost entirely of criminals and outcasts and they are all pretty much (frank)ed.

they said in the 2nd episdoe of season 2 that the summer had been one of the best lasting for 5 years. So i'm expecting winter to last for at least 5 years

Don't you guys find it pathetic that the Kings scoreboard says to do a Mar-ty chant?

I find it pathetic that Devils fans "celebrate" every goal by telling the other team it sucks. As much as I was rooting for Zubie in this series, that's been enough to make me reconsider.

I hate that just as much as you do, but it's not like the organization promotes that. They are trying to get the Kings to say Mar-ty, that's more pathetic than a crowd-made chant.

St Louis just had their best season in 30 years and he is signed long term, don't see him going anywhere.

Devils are good yo. We didn't lose to them because we suck, we lost to them because they are damn good.

Either of the first two games of the finals could have gone the other way.

Kings are in an absolute must win situation tomorrow in L.A.

I will say one thing though, everytime Kovalchuk makes a bad play all Devils fans get to point out that he is playing with a herniated disk, but it isn't an acceptable excuse for us that Gaborik was playing with a torn rotator cuff that required surgery.

read this in the Edmonton Journal today:

Radulov’s future back up in air

When the Predators GM and VP of hockey operations David Poile saw Alex Radulov at the airport in Nashville in the third week of March, he didn’t know whether to high-five the Russian winger or kiss The Reluctant One on the cheek.

“He gave me a hug first,” said Poile, the day of a press conference to announce his return from the Kontinental Hockey League.

“We saved his No. 47. We never gave it away.”

Times change, though. After beating his brains out to get Radulov back from the KHL, Poile’s now going to trade a guy with talent, but lacking in character.

We said that back on May 13, getting that from a source close to the club. This experiment blew up in everybody’s face, like a bad Bunsen burner in a chem lab in school.

If Radulov doesn’t hightail it back to Russia, the best bet is the Rangers get his rights, work out a deal to sign him and deal their $4-million forward Brandon Dubinsky to Nashville unless Poile would rather have somebody younger like Derek Stepan

yeah, definitely.

We aren't going to be luring Schultz here to play with Stepan and McDonagh by trading Stepan to Nashville

I'll tell you one thing, it's nice to be on the map again. Having a season like we just did will really help getting people to come play here. This team is in the verge of a serious run, and the players know that.
