The Devils are in the Finals and playing hard. They aren't being embarrassed in any way.

First 2 games have gone to OT, this series could just as easily be 2-1 Devils after tonight. However, the flood gates have now opened, this series is over.

The Devils also lost two games in this series in OT. So they have been right there with the Kings but tonight they are getting destroyed imo.

They were fine until the second goal. Then they knew they were done.

Agreed. The Devils are done. I dont even expect them to win a game at this point. LA closes it out next game.

Serious question: How many people will watch as Richards and Carter carry the cup around the ice? Or will you look away and turn off the TV?

Quick reminds me of Thomas last year. Playing out of his mind. Nothing you can do when a goalie is this hot. He is making every single save. Hes ridiculous right now and the Kings are playing well as a team.

I won't watch. I have DVR. I'll watch Quick, Anze, and Gags.

That's it. Then Family Guy goes on. Or the Phils. Whichever is applicable.

Yeah 2 goals in 200 minutes isn't being embarrassed. Sure.

It also seems the team with the "hot" goalie always seems to get the lucky bounces. Kovy with the knuckler off the crossbar, Fayne flubs an open net. Just funny how it all works out.

No it's not. Being embarrassed is when you don't show up, when you quit. When you don't play hard or with effort. You overstate everything.

I'll watch and be happy for them. They didn't sign 12 and 11 year deals to get traded out of Philly.

I was talking to Crims no too long ago and he made the point that he was going for the Devils because it was just too soon for Richards and Carter to win. I understand that mindset and I agree with him. On the other hand, I hate the Devils beyond anything else. Richards and Carter winning the Cup means nothing to me. They committed to us (Contract wise) and we didn't commit to them. End result. At the same time as that, I love the players on my team.

I wonder with Carter and Richards winning the cup this year if the Flyers will feel a bit embarrassed and be even more bold this offseason.

Chico complaining about the referees.

Devils had 6 PP's on the road. It was the refs Chico.

Hope so. Giroux has shown he can play on the same level as a Sidney Crosby and I would love nothing more to see Crosby spend the next decade facing Weber 1 on 1.
