I said that to my cousin on the phone tonight. He refuses to watch the finals. I dont understand how the Flyers couldnt even get the puck out of their own zone and yet these other teams make it look easy.

This is the worst Cup final I've ever watched, I think...

Every game. The Devils pressure hard and Quick comes up huge. The Kings fend it off, then it's all Kings except for a few spurts of energy here and there.

I find myself chuckling while watching this series because of its predictability.

It's like clockwork. It really is laughable. The Devils aren't even competitive. I don't care how "in the zone" LA is. I want to see a competitive series. This isn't. It's predictable and one sided. That's why it's not exiting to me.

I really expected the Devils to make a much better showing than they have. LA just looks too well coached, and too solid for NJ.

That's what I'm thinking as I enjoy the Cup finals. How can get a dig in against my own team.

Obviously I've knocked Carter for his lack of passing but I am by no means a Carter hater. I also dread his playoff numbers. However, I think the Flyers miss Jeff Carter right now more then they do Mike Richards. Carter would be a very good fit for us at the moment.

Kings are playing as well as any team in recent memory. 10 straight road playoff wins is unheard of. The Devils are being exposed in every aspect right now.

You can only handle so much. The coaches keep telling you to stick with it, stick with it, stick with it and things will change. And when you try your darnest and realize you're never going to score a clean goal on this team it just totally demoralizes you.

True. I'm enjoying watching the Devils get embarrassed as well. If the Kings are this much better than the Devils it doesn't say much for the Eastern Conf. The Devils were a bounce of the puck away from being eliminated by the Panthers.

The Devils also lost two games in this series in OT. So they have been right there with the Kings but tonight they are getting destroyed imo.
