Am I correct that the Flyers can be 10 percent over the cap during the offseason, but have to be cap compliant by opening night. My question is can they get cap compliant by waiving players to the minors (Walker, Bartulis) and moving Pronger to LTIR?

Thanks, I wasn't quite sure. I really believe the Flyers are going to do something big to get a top tier d-man. Honestly, I don't think it will be thru free agency, but thru trade. I think if Weber does come available, I believe the Flyers have the inside track to get him. Poile and Homer have done a lot of deals the last couple of years, and the Flyers have a lot of really good young talent that already has experience playing in the NHL.
