Jury is in. Leino is guilty of extortion, Felony Larceny, and flagrent false advertising. - RooNosHockey
The jury is never in a multi year deal after one season. |

then he is an A-1 ahole for pulling this stunt!. He could go with the flow let Boston trade him get some value, then pull his shenanigans elsewhere. Instead he sticks it to the team that saw him through good times and bad. What a J-O. - JoeRussomanno
Maybe that the whole point, he doesn't want to get traded. |

What happens if the Flyers sign Radulov and he retires right away? Is there a cap hit?
Do we have a lot to talk about, or nothing to talk about?
Good day all. - Daman
yea we have something to talk about: the wasted effort of the front office to scout and recruit then sign a player that did absolutely nothing and were forewarned is a waste of time. |

Maybe Lindros slept with his wife. No wait, wrong player, wrong team, wrong year. |

that's all well and good but the Flyers aren't starving for offense and that's what Radulov brings. I'm pretty sure it's been highlighted his lack of defensive game, a certain Keith jones rant comes to mind, therefore in addition to all the other baggage I would implore my favorite team's front office to address the real issues with the team and leave any possible derogatory player to the other 29 teams. - JoeRussomanno
What if the Flyers do end up trading JVR, Schenn, Coburn, and a pick to Nashville for Weber, and Jagr doesn't resign. Now your down some scoring. I wouldnt mind taking a chance on someone like Radulov, a cheap option that could end up being a blockbuster steal. If he was just a nieve kid, and works hard, and learns his defensive game |

Well he sure is looking out for number 1 in that case. Also he's definitely screwing over the Bruins. Why not just retire and kill them softly? |

Peggy screwed him and the Bruins were so cheap they wouldn't pick up his cab fair... He had to do awful things to pay for that cab ride... awful, awful things.... |

He could've opted for Patrick Kane's signature 'twenty cent discount'. |

I still don't know the whole story on that Kane incident, now I really have to google it, I try not to waste my time with these things. |

wow for someone claiming to be Da Man you sure need to read up since you have no idea who the fourth line center would be. Here's a clue he plays regularly on the phantoms, his first name is Ben and his last name is Holmstrom, there you go Not Da man. |

I dont think so. All he would have to say is, "If Boston trades me I will retire." No-one would take a chance on being stuck with that Cap hit. |

This whole situation is shady. Unless he has a crisis going on with his family I don't see the need to just sit out the year. I think Thomas is a decent dude but this seems rather odd to me. |
