I don't give a s**t what KO watches on TV. As long as he's putting up points next season while the Isles are actually in legit contention for a playoff spot instead of when the team's already out of it, nobody should care what KO does in the off-season.

Bailey too. They both have the physical tools, and were supposed to be top-six pieces of the rebuild puzzle. If they can figure it out, we might have a season that's somewhat interesting through the all-star break. I'd like to see what a no-nonsense coach like Hitch could get out of those two.

My video game chirp, was as a direct result of his soft play. The self proclaimed "power forward" needs to stop drinking cookies with milk........have some whiskey, and start playing with snarl. Drop the gloves more than once a season, line someone up, crash the net........anything gritty.

Cue up the "now you have a problem with cookies and milk? My son loves that"

How does everyone here feel if isles took Gomez off montreals hands if it got us subban without having to give much in return.

I think it's quite possible. I'm all for it. And don't be surprised if Gomez in a less pressure filled area like our isn't able to play better.

My 2nd thought. Those of u as frustrated as I was. Use la kings as means of seeing another great rebuild. Most of that team was drafted and they brought in Richards for leadership.

Let's hope either this year or next snow is ble to do the same itch some good serious Ufas. But unlike some people here. Trading guys like bailey dehaan nino b/c u deem them bust would only set us back again

I would take Gomez ONLY IF it got the Isles a guy like Subban for something less than the #4 overall pick or a top prospect like Strome. I don't see that happening. Gomez' contract is terrible and he is a terrible player. He would bring nothing to the Islanders other than helping to get to the salary floor. He was useless in NY and he's useless in MTL. I doubt he'd bring anything of value to the Islanders on the ice.

Four seasons ago, the Kings were a mess. They Draft Doughty, Quick becomes a star and they're on their way. But the Kings did two other things that really helped them: they had solid veteran coaching (Murray, Sutter) and they added quality veteran players to their core (Scuderi, Richards, Carter, etc.). The Islanders need to take a couple of pages out of the Kings' book and do the same.

Wow I have not been around for a while been in and out of hospital but I am back and I come back to read something that has nothing to do with the Isles. Nothing unusual for summer around here.

Also Kyle Watching basketball? I think he should watch highlights of the way he played last year and then maybe next year he will be a lot better. I nean just a suggestion.

Cant wait for the draft but we will probably get a blog with how many players have the letter x in there name. Cant wait for that one

Its just one more thing for people to complain about, either imaginary or real. This fan base has become so negative that I swear if the Islanders won the championship series in five games some here would complain that it wasn't a sweep.
