I Love the Canuck fans solutions for the last 4 years of Luongo's contract. You guys all sound like bad used car salesmen
"oh he'd make a great zamboni driver for the ACC.......... Have you ever seen Luongo work a concession? unbelievable............. Ushering elderly to their seats, nobody does it like Luuuuuuuuuuu"
Seriously, keep your pinto - Sheppy99

I honestly dont want Luongo to go to Toronto. I'd actually have to cheer for them and they'd make the playoffs and I kind of like it when the Leafs don't make the playoffs. The best would be Luongo to Tampa for Malone and the 10th overall. Good for both teams. |

Well then, since Loungo is so great, the solution then becomes to move Schneider! - Old Pappy
They keep arguing on how he is worthy of the HOF yet the last 3 years has been anything but HOF worthy. You can't trade a goalie and use a salepoint of 'well he should have won the Vezina and he should make it into the HOF'. His glory years are behind him and he has, behind Bryz, the most ridiculous contract in the NHL. |

Do you really think TO has a probllem burying his last 4 years total 6 mil in the minors? Come on now, - VANTEL
Ya, we can with ease. That's not the point.
The point is why the hell would we simply do that? Lou isn't the only goalie out there. We can get someone we don't have to pay to go away if he doesn't want to.
Ya, more then likely the guy gives it up before any of this is a possibility but if for some reason he decides he wants to keep playing that team is effed.
You might like to negate the ending of that contract but no amount of built up good will is going to move a team to give you anything for him.
When this deal happens it will be a shock. Not sure which way yet, but it'll be talked about a long while either way. |

Unfortunately that pesky reality comes into play where everyone is saying Yzerman isn't interested.
But I'm with you, if you factor reality outta the equation, you could probably get stampkos too |

They need to get this idea of a top 10 pick out of there heads. It ain't happening, not even from friggan Howsen.
Nonis loves the guy but he loves his draft picks more. He's like a mini Dudley without such a kneen eye. |

Our media have said there is no deal with TO. In fact they are telling us to expect CBJ.
A deal could be done between Tor/Van but it won't be a salary dump for TO only, as some fans suggest. Van does need a RHD or two but it would not be Kumi for Lu straight up. Gillis would be roasted if he did that. - VANTEL
Never said it would be straight up. |

mmmm-k. Columbus is a better fit, not sure why everyone keeps saying Toronto. Columbus and Toronto are both terrible teams, both lottery teams. Columbus has more cap space and they don't need to get rid of contracts to take him on. From Lu's stand point, what's the difference between going to TO or Columbus? They both suck. - LeftCoaster
Any traDe with Columbus would set us back as it would prob include nash and not really what we need right now and as I am not sold on Luongo he is more in our line of needs. |

Truthfully I would rather see Luongo go to a team that would be a contender.I would easily do Lu to NYI for Nabokov and a 2nd or even 3rd. They have 39 mil in space and solid goaltending would help them alot. |

Should a future hall of fame goalie really have that many pics mocking him? - Sheppy99
Should the goalie with the best career S% really be mid page 2 of S%? |

If you read my posts I said LUs HHOF chances are only made possible if he can play with the Leafs I never said he was HHOF bound , but if he plays with the Leafs we know how quick that status will change. |
