I think they would take that deal in a heartbeat for Lou. There's been some guys on here that are fine with losing him to an offer sheet if he's over $4million/year or something so I figured maybe there was some opportunity for a deal.

I think before expansion the fact that Vancouver did not win in that East Coast league is self explanatory. They did go over to Russia and won against the Russians back in the day but that is as relevant as the Leafs winning in a 6 team East Cost League.
