Because it was the stupidest trade that Vancouver could possible make .. didn't make sense then .. sure didn't make sense when Sedin was injured late in the season the for the first few playoff games ...

Van sent out a 12-14 minute a night stud for a 4th - 3rd liner at best in a couple of years .. that is why nobody knew anything
