The worst part here, it is our own team fans getting the bans, the Leafs blogs are open to all teams to have a say, as long as they don't take insults towards Mike and fellow posters, for the most part we have really good posters from other teams here.
Now Frenchie is a different story. - LeafMan

Best Player available of Grigs/Gally.
If both are gone, trade down and take Faksa. - cracka
If Grigorenko and Galchenyuk are gone, Faksa is chosen.
If another team is trading up, it would be for Faksa. |

Sorry to burst your bubble or everyone elses, though he is very much coming to toronto. - Mapleleafs_91
Totally.
Just like richards last year.
Or Parise this year.
Or like Taveres when his ELC was reaching expirement.
Or Stamkos last year. |

Good morning!...afternoon for me.
And I agree, the cost has to be worth the move, but if we get the big centre we want, it may be worth it. - IRON.MAIDEN
Just not all that sold on Grigs or Galy ... saw a picture the other day and Galy isn't as big as his is listed .. he was the same height at Yak... I thought there was a 3-4 inch difference in Height |

espn reporting that thomas might take a year off - Dozzer
I Read up on that.
The ideal is that if Thomas pulls this card, no one will want to trade for him, so he remains a Bruin. He is, by what I've read, controlling his fate with this bluff. |

Any rumor as to why? Based on his age and his body type I would think taking a year off would be nail in the coffin for him. |

Based on what other moves Burke could make - (moving Reimer or Scrivens in a package for top center or winger) I'd be happy with Luongo. - Mr_Smokey
Justin Schultz and Roberto Luongo are very much headed to Toronto this season. Leaving us with some expendables and assets and trade bait to acquire some top forwards likely a centerman and power forward.
To fit burkes category of a power forward, Chris Stewart is the answer, and will come at a good price to acquire.
For centermans, all you leaf fans can go nuts with that one, i aint gotta clue about who is the most realistic deals or players to acquire. My only assumption was stasny, but even alot of you guys hate on that idea. So this is open for discussion. |

people start throwing out personal insults and reporting his posts... who cares enough to do that?
Agree, disagree, debate it ... its means nothing...if you take it personal... take up gardening - senstroll
Hey don't get me wrong, I think the bans are a joke.
But after watching him report over and over, and bait guys into angry replies, then sit there and talk about the CoC...it was nice to report him last night. |

So it's pretty much confirmed now around here that Schultz is going to the Leafs.
I cant see this backfiring at all.

Unlike those players, richards was set on the rangers to sign. Stamkos resigned, tavares signed, and parise is in the finals atm.
Luongo on the other hand had toronto, florida, chicago, tampa, and some other team on his list i believe.
Lets do this shall we? Yzerman said no to luongo. Done. Florida has theodore, clemmesen, and markstrom they are SET with goalies, no need for luongo. Done. Chicago would be a good fit, though guess what? NUCKS wont trade LUONGO to a divisional rival. Done. Leaving the leafs last to acquire luongo for nothing

NMC
NTC
Tad different.
Sorry...
Thomas has a NMC but as of July 1 2012 it is no longer in effect. So he can be traded after said date, or moved to the A. |

basically its telling the bruins.. i am ready to retire but I want to collect my last year of salary first.. but i dont want to be traded either. |
