They have to play the kids atleast they'd put in an effort each night not like MacArthur or connolly. How does the leafs even consider Lombardi being on the team and not Kadri? Seriously Kadri probably will end up by being our best player at the forward position (besides Kessel if he stays in the for the long haul) in a few years? I totally agree with you. The kid deserves to be up here full term. No back and forth crap and has the talent and drive to become a top winger. It's time they either (frank)ing keep him and give him his chance or trade him to a team that can fully utilise him and we'd be crying about it forever.

Why not try to unload Liles? Franson has a solid shot, has some size, and would be cheaper. Seems like a guy you'd want to have come playoffs (even if they're 2-3 years away) All he needs to do is learn to throw his weight around a bit more and he'd be golden

Raymond is a good 3rd liner. Lapierre would be great because we don't have anyone like that. Think about how much Toronto would love that french bastard?

That's how it end up.

Mac would land a first. Something like what we got for Versteeg. I filled them with a capable group that actually knows how to play their roles and can TEACH the youngsters how to do so. Frattin, Colborne and Kadri are set in stone there. Mueller and D'Amigo will be ready for when someone goes down. Doesn't leave us over stacked with useless bottom six guys like the last however many years.
