Teams can trade as soon as the season is over and they're eliminated from the playoffs. Just doesn't happen very often.

Add it to the CoC.

If I'm around, the participants will be gone, I like a lot of the people here but I can't play favourites, I have been giving warnings now for a few days to make sure all see them, if problems continue, no warning will be given, it will be straight to ban.

i feel like he's gonna have a real bounceback year this year, he started playing better near the end of the season, and playing under carlyle's defensive system i think it suits his style much better than wilson's run and gun

Statsny would be the top C we could get out of any trading scenario. Big body, good shot, but dishes first. Avs have Duchene and OReilly, which would make a good, 1/2 combo so they do have flexibility to move him to spread around the offense.

Av's also have a lot of holes in their team. Almost no support on the wings, no scoring on the wings, and their top scoring D was Hejda with 5 goals.

In comparison, Toronto had 4 D men score 5 or more goals.

A Statsny trade
Franson, Mac, 5th overall, salary dump (Connolly, Lombo or Armstrong)

Franson adds depth to their D and would automatically become their PP QB.
Mac (and people knock him) would actually have been 4th in scoring on their team, only behind O'Reilly, Statsny and Landeskog
5th overall would help their rebuild
Salary dump more helps Toronto, but Lombo's speed would go well with the youngsters.
