Reasons why include the way he plays which is with a lot of heart. He also played in a better league by playing in the OHL whereas the QMJHL is a lot more wide open and suited to benefit Grigorenko's offensive stats.

Falsa is the better player to pick. He's just as big, plays hard every game, has plenty of talent and proved he could play in North America in a better league.

Again, you missed the part where scouts have admitted to not watching much of him. It has nothing to do with what he did or didn't say. He was voted the top rookie of the CHL, and that included the likes of good ol' western Canadian boys etc etc. Clearly those who voted know nothing of him and what he can really do on the ice.
