See what? He's terrible. His lateral movement is shot to sh!t, it takes him forever to move post-to-post. He regularly makes terrible decisions (see: every time he plays the puck/Brent Johnson). He positionally brain-dead, although in the interest of fairness he was never a positionally sound goaltender.
I couldn't find a single good thing to say about him, except maybe he tries really hard to come back. Maybe he should have laid off the juice. - eichiefs9

Wow, based on Bob McKenzie's numbers for next years salary cap, assuming Nino goes to BPT, the Islanders will have to spend just south of $18,000,000 to hit the floor. And the only "must" sign player is Matt Martin (RFA).. And when I say must sign, I didn't mean that we don't have positions to fill, just meant who we already have. The thought of this makes me ill because we all know how it's going to work out in the end. FTW! |

You can bet every penny of that 18,000,000 will be spent wisely on only the finest talent. |

This could be a good thing. Imo, for all the Snow supporters who say it's all Wang's fault, this is the offseason where Snow puts up or, well, does what he did last offseason. He'll have $18m to spend, mandatory, if the numbers are right. Plenty of cash there to address a good chunk of our needs. Let's see what we end up with when the puck drops. |

Just looking at the numbers now, Nelson has almost $2m of bonuses built into his contract That's more than Strome.
His NHL cap hit would be $2.825 mil. Guess he's got a roster spot.
Martin should get around $1m, not including bonuses. I'm sure I know of a handful of people in here that will crap on me for this, but I still think we're re-signing PA. The fact that we've heard nothing is good news to me, considering if things weren't going well something would have leaked out, considering his agent is a loudmouth on Twitter. That's pure speculation going on my own personal gut feeling, but no news is good news.
Haley and Reese should be re-signed to two-ways, as well. I get the feeling Staios will get brought back. There's a good number of Bridgeport RFA's that should earn themselves a new 2-way contract, too. |

I agree. He may not be the savior some people are expecting we make magically appear but he's improved YOY with us (and from his short stint with the Rags). There's not a reason in the world we'd let him walk, unless he either doesn't want to be here or doesn't like the terms we've offered. |

I do think he's brilliant. If I can find a way to make $4.5mil per year for doing nothing you can be damn sure I'm doing it. - eichiefs9
Good answer, it's incredible. Good for him |

Yha they are coming to Charlotte .. its a hump from where I am, but its Maiden!!
Jones Beach is one of my all time fav places to see a concert. There are a bunch that I want to go to this year.. but its 550 miles from here to Jones Beach...
Maiden / Cooper 6-27 *
Queensryche/Scorpions 7-7
Poison/Def Leppard/Lita Ford 7-13
System of a Down/Deftones 8-5
Bare Naked Ladies/ Blues Traveler 8-14 *
Linkin Park/ Incubus 8-15
Motley Crue/Kiss 9-22
Queensryche is one of my all time fav bands so it kills me that they will be there the week before I come up to L.I.
