No poop... defense is not an issue with leaf land- unless you are going to be trading one or 2 for that center you need??? Buh bye Schenn, maybe even Phaneuf??? I am just teasing- we all know Schenn aint going anywhere....

The last three months of play was horrifying. He was great to start (In all areas), but it's looking more and more like he can't handle the big minutes over time.

Playing with a #4-5 Dman in Gunnarson, had to be moved to his left side where he can't pivot, and saw the goaltending erode...

Hey! I was wondering where Justin Schultz development is when compared to guys like Murray and Dumba. If the current Schultz was an 18 year old, where would he go ithe draft?

I don't do strippers of any gender.

EDIT: Stevens is my favorite of all time, so it's easy to see why Phaneuf is my favorite current NHL'er. Big hits and big shots is what I like.

If Schultz were 18, he'd be fighting it out with Yakupov for 1st overall. But being 21, he'd likely go around 7-10 in this draft.

He would be a great player on your team... But as an oiler fan with a team of small fwds I was happy to say that once we had Smackintyre on the roster -that one year he made Phaneuf and Regehr tone it down to nothing when we played against them... I say Phaneuf takes careless liberties when he knows he is way bigger or tougher than the opposition but is kind of a wussy when the shoe is on the other foot though...

I don't think Dion is very good. To put it mildly.

I don't think very much of some players myself. Doesn't change the fact that everybody has differences of opinions.

thats fine... Im sure theres someone out there who has Shawn Horcoff as their fav player.

I also think theres a reason that Dion doesnt seem to be respected by his peers.

Because he's a pesky player. There's not a lot of respect for a guy like Dustin Brown... still love him. Not a lot of respect or love for a guy like Lucic. Still love him.

I take those guys on my team any day of the week.

No... no I dont think thats why he's voted the most overatted and such.

He's cocky, and doesnt really back it up imo. Plays without emotion, those big hits you talk about come few and far between, and he simply doesnt play a smart game.

I think guys like Lucic and Brown are much more respected by their peers.

Regardless, I dont like Dion, thought he was overatted from the get go, and Im sick of seeing his ugly mug all over HNIC... wish he would be traded to CBJ.

How often do you even watch the Leafs? The big hits this year came every couple games. And no emotion? He's one of the few on the Buds who does show emotion. And who cares about a "smart game"... this is an entertainment industry. I'd rather watch a team go out, play with emotion and hammer each other all night, than watch a team full of 'smart' players who skate and use their sticks to defend. It would get boring, real quick.

Also Lucic is universally hated because of his reckless abandon, and cheap shots at times. Same with Brown.

As for overrated: who else was on the list? Ovechkin, Luongo, Kovalchuk, Kesler. These are far from overrated players. Heck, Gomez was on this list. WHO THINKS GOMEZ IS EVEN GOOD TO BE OVERRATED? The list made zero sense.

I watch the Leafs probably 40-50 games a year, I dont understand how Dion has any backers at all after his performance since joining the team.

Theres a reason the Flames traded him and I think it's become evident in Toronto.

When the team was reeling and needed their leader to step up.. where was he?

Who cares about a smart game? Obviously not someone who's fav player is Phaneuf.... cmon Huddle!!!!

Grabovski and Mike Brown showed 100X more emotion and desperation in their game.

Let's just agree to disagree. I'll take Dion 100 times out of 100 on my team. I really couldn't care less if you don't like him as a player, but to sit here and try telling me I'm dumb for liking the guy... it's stupid.
