It really is sad. One of my favorite bands ever, one of my favorite vocalists ever. Kills me.

Wasn't going to post it, but this song is impossible to ignore. Blast me all you want, a good song is a good song. The (frank)ing lyrics are nuts.

I agree Kevin doesnt belong there, but the owner doesnt??? Wang is the first & only owner to bring family to the draft table, or up to the podium? no & no
I have seen GMs have their kids at the draft table. It really isnt a big deal.

I think you're missing the point here. Its not about the owner not belonging at the table. Its about the state of this franchise and being a laughingstock. When you are in the state the isles are in, the least you can do is "act" professional. If the isles were a consistant playoff team, then yeah id have no problem with Wang and his son going up to the podium. But right now it should be all business........and having Kevin Connelly who is a D lister at best at the draft table tipifies why this franchise is considered mickey mouse!

Who could blast this song.......its great. Unfortunately while I do dig Elton, he didnt write his songs, and it will always be a knock on him for me.

A lot of people might blast the song because it's *gasp* Elton John. He didn't write any of his songs from the 70s, but he's the first to admit that he would have been nothing without Bernie Taupin.

- Mikhail Grigorenko had a team ask him about all the questions over his work ethic. His response? “Did you see me play?”

- The team's response? "No." Have to wonder how a team hasn't seen Grigorenko play. Isn't that the point of scouting staffs -- to see every player play?

Probably in my top three bands as well. Facelift doesn't get enough recognition besides Man in the Box. Probably it's because I have the music book and play almost every song from there on guitar, but I like it better than Dirt. Jar of Flies is one of the few albums I would say is perfect...I don't skip a single song when it's on and almost always listen the whole way through front to back. How many albums can you really say that about? Sap might have qualified too...but what the heck is with that last song?

Layne was absolutely a huge loss, but I have to say, when the new album came out, it really showed how Cantrell is absolutely critical to everything they've done besides lyrics and obviously lead vocals. I saw the reconstituted band recently...maybe a year or so ago, maybe longer (lose track of time quickly these days). They still put on a hell of a show, and you're right, DuVall does an admirable job stepping into some very big shoes.
