You pay for this product? If you don't like what you see, don't pay? Simple as that.

Demand excellence then. Just don't cry when a guy we drafted signs a contract.

Sorry Burke can't roll 4 lines of superstars.

That attitude probably works out really well for you with a lot of things.

If "because we drafted him" is the reason he gets a contract, thats some house-league management right there.

And again, breathe before you keep spewing these ideas that I am asking for delusional things. We are on the topic of Komarov, my opinion is that its a waste of time. Of course I could be wrong, I hope I am, but realistically its not looking good.

Excuse me, but it's my job here to bash Komarov, thank you.

It's not a waste of time - as long as expectations are realistic.

Bring him over, drop him at the Ricoh, and let him adjust to the North American game.

But don't automatically hand him a roster spot with the big club.

And don't proclaim him a bust, either, when he struggles for the first half of the season.

Only when dealing with stupid people.

Who cares if it's a waste of time? What happens if he doesn't work out? He's here for 1 season.

If he doesn't work out, looks like we don't re-sign him. Simple.

Pretty easy to understand..

Do you get this upset when Burke doesn't draft a superstar in the later rounds of the draft?

If Burke dumps Armstrong for a 4th or 5th round pick and Komarov takes his spot on the 4th line, is it really that big of a problem? They would grab a mid level pick, save cap space and give one of their drafted players a 1 year contract.

Also, don't expect Komarov to play 82 games. He's not the only guy on the team looking for a job. You can also bet some money on Burke signing Parros so chances are between him, Brown and Komarov, they all play 30 to 40 games each, depending on injuries and other situations.

Yes - something like a 10% raise offer lets you keep his rights.

I suspect that is what we will see - Burke will qualify him, and then worry about it later.

- Atomic Wedgie

Did you get a good look at Holzer when you went to the Marlies game? His positioning is excellent, he deserves a shot as well, as I said earlier, 1 or 2 dmen have to go.

If Burke dumps Armstrong for a 4th or 5th round pick, I'd be as happy as a clam.

It still has nothing to do with Komarov.

Hey, if the guy comes to training camp and looks spectacular, terrific, sew "Komarov" on a jersey, and away we go.

Just don't hold your breath waiting for it to happen.

I've seen enough on here over time to find this incredibly humorous and ironic.

I could see Gunnar and Franson included in separate packages for forwards possibly happen.

I also think we should sign Jackman for some veteran leadership on the backend, and he's a solid Dman.

So a guy who you have never seen play, who has never skated in a North American arena, is already being pencilled in for 40 games in the NHL next season?

Funny how you didn't quote the rest of the comment. You know, the comment that makes your anger for Komarov look silly.

You can't shake your head and know who I'm thinking should go, in my opinion they have to open a spot or two.

I must confess I was watching the game, but I wasn't exactly taking notes.

I couldn't really tell you anyone who stood out, other than Scrivens and Frattin.

There was quite a bit of beer involved, too...

I see your point. And your point is pretty much meaningless.

If we signed him for 3-4 season, then I'd agree.

But we signed him for a 1 season....
