I don't see whats wrong with adding to your cap if you're re-building... it's not like you need that money for stars when you're heading down to the bottom...

Kipper makes $5 million in 2012-13, and then a paltry $1.5 million in 2013-14.

It's going to take a spectacular offer to pry him away from small market Calgary.
