I bet Lidstrom is holding a press conference to let us all know he is taking his game to South Beach. - JDJ
Ya I heard rumours he was good at volleyball too. |

Bournival and Gallagher will be upfront as well, would be nice if Kristo wasn't a turd and decided to man up. But they should do noticeably better than this year (not that it's going to be hard). - ehabs9

If Béliveau's on the ice, no, there won't be any boos...as long as it's in a good hockey market. Phoenix or Nashville people probably won't know him. - _nay_
As soon as Bettmen steps on the ice, the reign of boos will be deafening.
He could step on the ice to present the cup in Madison Square Garden with an army vet that lost both his legs and an arm by saving a bunch of orphans from a suicide bomb in Afghanistan and he would still get boo'd.
Good thing the Rangers were eliminated.
As for renaming the trophy, nice gesture, but I like the tradition of the names... you can create a new trophy for leadership or something along those lines and name it after Beliveau. |

Last season, aside from Leblanc, Nattinen and Avtsin, I agree. |

Huge disappointment. When he played with good players (read here Leblanc) he produced. |

Still adjusting to the North American version of the game.
Give him another 2-3 years. |

Talking about potential. He has all the tools, but struggled mightily last year.
Still not ready to give up on a 6'3 200 lbs talented winger with golden hands, a good vision and a good shot. He needs work ethic and to learn how to play defensively. Things you can teach to a player.

I actually feel pretty bad for him. A lot of people thought he'd just stay in Russia, but he wanted to make it work here. Too bad it fell apart |

Then he will likely score 30 goal in the first 20 or so games, get called up, score 40 in the last 40 game sin MTL and lead the team to the cup.
Then go back to the KHL with a 10 million a year contract. |

And then in the first year playing over there he'll make the all star team and shoot a puck 134 mph. |

There are still two years remaining on his contract, since his contract slid, cause he played as an 19 yo in the AHL.
