Thoughts on Trevor Timmins maybe leaving the Habs after the draft?
I can see him taking Dudley's old job in Toronto, unfortunately. - Apples

Well I think it's hard to forge yourself an opinion without seeing the guy really play.
Reading into stats/reports, gives you a good idea, but it's not as good as seeing it live. - QuebecPride
That's fine, but watching one or two games when they show up at your "home" Arena doesn't constitute a higher opinion then someone else, and it doesn't make one a "scout"
And that is all Huddle does, Web reports and goes to junior games closest to his house.
half a dozen thousand people do this every day in every Junior Arena around the world.

Thank god. Looking forward to what he can do now that he has some help.
Still can't believe we never had a director of player personnel, poor little Trevor must have been swamped. |

And Bergevin already confirmed he wants Timmins to stay.
Trevor seemed really happy to be able to talk to journalists again. |

A guy on Mathias Brunet's blog says the Habs should trade Plekanec, Markov, Weber and Diaz for Edmonton's 1st overall.

Stephane Leroux of RDS said that Trevor used to tell him who the first round pick of the Habs would be just before going up on the stage. When Gauthier became GM he wasn't allowed to do that anymore. |

Well I'm certainly not in the god's secrets, but I think he watches more than that. And a lot of OHL games are televised, much more than the 'Q. You can also 'buy' games on demand for the CHL.
While it's not as good as seeing them play live, it's still better than reading stuff on internet. |

No he didn't say that. He said that he, Leroux, usually knows who the next team will pick, so he was usually passing the word to Timmins, but with the Gauthier regime, he couldn't even have a chat with Trevor, because it was so secretive. |

We give them too much (swiss) cheese in that trade. They should give Omark in return. |
