To be fair, I don't personally know Kopitar either.

Anybody else really tired of people saying, "A guy most people in the East don't know (insert name like Kopitar), blah blah blah," it's (frank)ing dumb.
- AdamFrench

Meh, most people I know follow the Habs and, to a certain extent, the East. They only "heard" Kopitar is good, but have never seen him play. Let's trade Eller for him.

I have no idea what that means, or why it's significant. Will assume it's insulting.

Most players from the West actually get over-valued because general population only gets to see them on highlight reels. It is the most flawed arguement that is out there, and it's out there on a consistent basis. 3 years ago, the West was a stronger conference but things have pretty much evened out. In fact, imo, the west has become the over-coached conference if anything.

So even though there are guys like Kopitar who might not get as much press time for playing out there, you get guys like Marleau who might get a bit more praise than what he's actually worth.

Hear that Ricky? He's calling you a Danish cow. And by Danish, I don't mean those morsels of sugary goodness you get at Tim Horton's.

Hmmm

"Forsberg-lite"

or "Forsberg-lite with four goals in a game"

Tough choice.

The only thing that matters is that they all always wanted to play for the leafs.

We can add René "Son of Ray" Bourque, but they'll have to give that Brown guy. He seems to play like that fag Brown enforcer in Toronto, he can replace Moen.

My comparison is based on the fact that they were both fringe players into their 30's that nobody had heard of until they did something newsworthy (score a big goal, be the coach's rat, etc.), and now they have all kinds of potential.

Park-lite.
