So the vibe about Bergevin is pretty positive so far. Seems to be surrounding himself with some pretty decent hockey people.

So why are people freaking out about Hartley? If this is the guy that Bergevin selects, so be it. It appears that there is actually a hiring process in place and I can't wait to see how it plays out.

Whatever the choice is, let's try not to tar and feather the guy until he actually deserves it.

I don't see who people would prefer instead of Hartley. IMO it's a toss up between him and Crawford, neither really stands out above the other. And apart from those two theres sweet (frank) all available at the moment.
