The population does their fair part. Couldn't say the same about the corporations, for whom the taxes keep lowering for some reason.
- QuebecPride

40% of people who should pay taxes in Québec don't. But I agree about the corporations' contribution. The "particulier-corporation" ratio changed from 40-60 to 15-85 in the last 40 year.s

Well if they really wanted to be here, they would stay. I'm not saying tax them to the limit, but the rates right now are ridiculous. Stop handing share options left and right to everyone, and maybe you'll be able to pay taxes.

Cole was a high risk. Not many teams offered him a contract, knowing how he sucked in Edmonton.

Hopefully Bergevin will find us more surprise like Cole this summer.

- ShafterBenRaide

I think it might start showing in the 3rd / 4th year of the contract. I really do not expect him to have the same numbers next year (or on-going).

I still think it was a good signing, for what we needed and what was available.

No nomination this week.

Of course not, Bergevin isn't even in Montreal this week, he's at the combine in Toronto at the moment...

I doubt they would present a new coach over a conference call

Well I couldn't care less if they leave, we have tons of ressources, and we should do like the Chinese. If you wanna come here and make money, you're gonna have to train our people to exploit the ressource, transform it, and then sell it, and you'll have to create a Québécois affiliate to your main company.

You want our ressources? Fine, but not at any price.

I know it's not the best source, but I believe it's actually from Léo-Paul Lauzon, a accountability teacher at UQAM who happens to be a blogger for JdeM.

It's how they roll over there. China might be a special specimen, but I think the situation could be way better here.

If you think the environmental damage of the tar sands in Alberta is bad wait'll you get a load of China.

They exploit their resources becasue they have ulimited, quasi-free labor over there.

Here we'd stop a billion-dollar project becasue we find a bird nest on top of a hill and the FTQ, CSN and all other (frank)nuts wuld make any economic benefit pretty much disappear

Not to mention how much you would have to pay just to get Greenpeace and the natives off your back.
