Yummy, great job of picking the actress for her, damn, what a little vixen, she might actually be the hottest chick in the show...

Only in the TV show.

Aww, ok, i read the 5 books in like less than 2 months and whilst doing so i had quite the amount of information overload ( all the main families and their lands and their following famlies and such) so sometimes the small things and the chronological order or things gets a little hazy.

I kinda like what they are doing to her character... lots of stuff that is hinted to int he books, but never seen, comes to the forefront.

Somewhat interesting.

That and she wanted a 3-way with her (now dead) husband and her gay brother.

Yeah, the first time I went through the books way too fast.... when the last book came out, I started over... took a while to get all the characters, places and lineages to make sense.

There is a budget and limited number of episodes.

Whatever... enjoy the show or not, take it for what it is - entertainment. Unlike say LotR, which did also have changes, I don't think this HBO series is really made for those who read the books.

They are really two different versions of the same-ish story.

- JDJ

That's undertandable, thing is I enjoyed the first season and had little problems with the changes they made there, but they are leaving some key elements to future events out of the story this season. Maybe they are trying to condense too much into one season and limit the amount of characters. But with all the death that is on its way, little backstory on future character should have been introduced and fleshed out more, like the Boltons.

This. And the Boltons are huge to the storyline especially Bolton's basterd. The Freys as well.

I admit my expectations for this season was not met - and largely because the first episode this season was so perfect in the way it set up everything that was to come, but somewhere it took a strange turn.

But like Jon Snow... him and Halfhand are gonna duel it out, just won't be like in the books. The show will (mostly) get you there, just in a different way.

Oh well.

At the very least, I give them credit for trying to do deal with this large volume of information, yet still keeping the acting, settings, and look very strong.

Idgaf if she plays the ukelele honestly let alone the same character. She could play any (frank)ing thing she wants.

I think this all gets rolled into next year, properly flushed out, with the red wedding. Makes more sense to keep it all condensed into 1 season that split over 2, given the complexity of it all.

Roose Bolton is pretty much the Tywin Lannister of the north, feared as much too, and most of the reason Rob does as well as he does.

I could see them fixing the state of things and doing a better job of bringing the story together in the next season, they almost have to really.

"Est-ce que Scott Mellanby est vraiment l'homme de la situation?"

Pas certain que Mellanby soit le candidat idéal, j'aurais préféré voir un ancien de l'organisation à ce poste, quelqu'un qui connait la réalité montréalaise, quelqu'un qui sait ce que c'est de jouer ici, quelqu'un comme Patrice Brisebois, ou Benoit Brunet.

They need to add chicks so it is not a total sausage fest... and perhaps get women interested in watching.

I doubt many women tune into to se these chicks get (frank)ed every episode
