Did i miss the Blackwater disapointment hour?
- Oilhab

Nice that they continually make Tyrion look like a weakling fag, when he himself, not his old man at all, saved their bacon on the Blackwater, including going on a rampage and killing a dozen or so men himself, what we saw at the tail end of the fight was bs and undermined his character by quite a (frank)ing bit. WTF was that weak slice on the face anyways?

Stanis's fleet was decimated in a 6 boat explosion? Really?

No Hand's chain in the harbor.

The Imp never even made it to the shore and onto one of the boats in his "rampage"
where he was supose to almost drown after Swann slices his nose off before being saved by Pod Payne.

The Slice on the face i guess is going to be the cheap way out of having the imp walk around without a nose, instead he will walk around with a scare that Shae will find adorable.

The Flower Knight does show up at the end of the battle to turn the tide, but it had nothing to do with Tywin

They must be paying Tywin a poop load of cash to give him all these extra scenes.

He stole the scenes from Roose Bolton in Harrenhal, now he is overshadowing Tyrion and Loras Tyrell at the blackwater.

fawk this series.

Mellanby could not get into specifics of what exactly his job will be, but he says his main task will be to keep an eye on the organization's prospects and formulating a plan for how to get them playing in Montreal as soon as possible.

Swann is a a good guy. Moore slices his face off Really (frank)ing pissed they didn't have the "Let me help you my lord" *Bam* scene, it lacked any substance, adding that we don't really know who the (frank) he is, he's just some guy in the Kingsguard outfit. Stannis leading the assault...wtf. I understand they needed to cut out Garlan as Renly's ghost but come on. They cheaped that up so bad. Tywin leads from the back and never the front just like Stannis. (frank) I even felt bad for Joffrey, he's evil and insane but not afraid, he wanted to fight, Tyrion forced him to man a wall. I'd love to see Plekanec get a 10-game stint with Cole and Pacioretty. He could probably break 75 points if he got a long rehearsal with those two behemoths.

The battle in the beginning with the wildfire was really well done, only there was like 100 ships and not 6. In the books the one boat lured the others into the blackwater, when they were in the river so far, Tyrion had a few hundred feet chain lift up out of the water behind them and shut off their exit so they had to leave the ocean and go further up the blackwater river, to which they then used trebuchets to fire wildfire at the ships that were pretty much pinned, then they lit them up. Joffrey stayed at the wall. The Imp took his mountain folk and some others to the shore in a last stand sort of effort to save the city from siege.

Where he went on a berserk rampage and killed a poopload of men and helped push Stannis' men back to the rivers edge and their boats, poop got all out of sorts and one of Tyrion's guys turned on him in the heat of battle and slice half of his nose off and a chunk of his face. He was supposed to kill Tyrion for dear old sister, who was pissed about him sending her daughter away to be a noble whore like she was.

I prefer they sign a winger for Pleks and Gionta, and leave the DD, Cole and Pacs line alone.

Yes, however, this battle is pretty much the most important part of the first 4 books, that and the wedding, to which, the back story they have (frank)ed up as well, including not having the Freys mentioned hardly at all.

Having not read the books, do you think Stannis fleet had been destroyed?

One of the most important aspects of Tyrion's plan was the development of a chain that reached across the narrow entrance to the bay, when the majority of Stanis fleet made it into the bay, the chain was raised from the bottom of the bay to stretch across the entrance preventing any of the boats from leaving.

The Wildfire then Decimated all the ships as nothing would extinguise the fire and it would grow and burn anything it touches.

Last night Stanis saw the little explosion blow up 6 boats and then just stopped and got off somewhere else.

In the book Stanis wasn't even on the boats, he took the majoirty of his force and landed them way up stream and came in on foot, using his fleet as a distraction, not knowing that he would lose the majoirty of them.

The Imp's rampage was horrible last night, he choped one guy's foot off, before a Swann of the Kings guard sliced his face.

In the Book he was a man possesed chopping his way to the shore and killing any of Stanis men that remained on the boats and had managed to land on the shore trying to escape the raging wildfire.

If you hadn't read the books you wouldn' even know why one of the Kings guard would even try and kill the imp.

As the tide seemed to turn in favor of the imp that is when Stanis showed up, and when the King Guardsman decided it was good oppurtunity to take get rid of his Kings pesky little uncle.

The battle between the Imp and Swann took place on one the grounded boats that was on fire with wildfire all around them, and after Swann chopped Tyrions Nose off, Tyrion fell into the water, and as he was losing consciousness he saw the ghost of Renly riding to the shore to save the day and push back Stanis Host.

The flower knight had dressed up in Renly's armor and it inspired the people and also caused some of Stanis' forces to rebel, as they had been loyal to Renly before his death.

The Imps Squire Podrick Payne (nephew to the silent headsman), then dove into the wildfire covered water saved the imp and drag him back to shore, instead of just coddling his head like he did last night.
This show of bravery by Pod resulted in the Imp trusting no one but Pod in Kings landing from here on out.

All in all last night was meh

I really like this move. It's nice that we can say that we have a guy that will be there for our youngsters who knows what it's like in today's NHL. Who had this role before him? Was this part of Timmins' responsabilities? If so, it kind of backs up what I'm saying.
