Getzlaf will be #1 centre
- BingoLady

Even if that's the case, DD would still be #2 centre and would put up points with his wingers

Desharnais is a gem at the price we pay for him. I have mixed feelings about the long term plan because of his size. Ideally, we would form a good top line of Pleks and two real top six forwards, and with DD as the 2C his size is less of an issue.

On another note, I hope we pick up a RHD who can play top 4 minutes for a couple of years while the young guys are given a real opportunity to develop. Dennis Wideman comes to mind.

Subban-Gorges
Markov-Wideman
Diaz-Emelin
St.Denis-Weber

In a couple of years, the prospects replace Markov, Wideman and Diaz.

As the only line that worked last year, the coach would be stupid to play DD with anyone other than Pacioretty and Cole.

He only has 1 year left on his contract and only scored 57 points (11g), Adam. They would be lucky to get Eller for him, Adam.

I feel this may be one of the best blockbusters ever proposed on HB...

Guess which team's fan proposed it.

A low risk signing could be Bryan Allen.

Eller has never even cracked 30 points. he scored 16 goals, 4 of which came in 1 game. the fact that Getlaf only has one year left really doesn't bring his value down that much. he's a 27-year-old first-line centre coming off a mediocre season. we've been looking for a Ryan Getzlaf for 20 years. he would cost more than Lars Eller.
