hal gill has amazing positioning this i admit and we could use another him for CHEAP, but hal gill's amazing position has alot to do with the fact that he's ALWAYS the slowest guy on the ice so he had BETTER be in position lol |

When I went out in MTL this weekend, the GF of a bud of mine was proud to tell me she had received a call from the man himself, Léo Bureau-Blouin.

funny when i watched the games i saw a team with one of the best shot blockers in the game and i also noticed a team that does a great job at killing penalties.....but nah they should sign every available UFA D out there!
because those stats....the ones that say how many shots Josh Gorges blocked...they dont mean a thing, because obviously they didnt count unless we saw each of those blocked shots with our own eyes!
- Habitants98
Did you notice how much time they spend in their own end? or were you too busy busting nuts every time a hab player got hit with a puck, i mean blocked a shot? |

and THIS is completely wrong by the way
the habs were 11th in the league in Goals allowed, once again all the teams ahead of them are viewed as far superior short of the Coyotes
so i dunno where ur getting ur stats, D is NOT the habs main issue they need to put up goals that arent jus comin from Patches and Cole - Habitants98
IDGAF what the silly stats say, this was a (frank)ing issue... |

having the puck requires offensive players who are able to KEEP the puck, thus less pressure on the D to have to block the shots....or Offense that forechecks like the Devils.... - Habitants98
or defense that can clear pucks instead of standing their getting blasted?
Or how about D that get to the puck before the other team can setup in your end like it was PP?
Or how about D that punish the other team form stepping in front of the net instead of watching as they run the tender?
How about one or two of them, instead of 7 Patrice Brisebois to support the one Josh Georges? |
