We had the 2nd best PK, but if you check the number of goals we scored, it's pretty comparable with most of the playoffs teams. And if you check the number of goals allowed, we're one of the worst team.

Kaberle is a fine defenseman. If we didn't have Markov/diaz, I'd be fine with him staying but we do and, though Kaberle is better, Diaz comes at 1/4 the cost.

We need a gritty, 2-way player or at least a Carkner.

Not what the numbers say. We're scoring enough goals, but they are not consistent enough, too many blowouts for us. And too many games the team couldn't score 1 goal or more...

right i get that but we're talkin about a group thats young and can only get better and this was mostly done in a season without their best D, there's really no reason to be lookin elsewhere especially when the talent pool is deep as shown in the Memorial Cup

Either way im pretty sure Tinordi's gonna make that team, and softeness will be far from the issue at that point, but i guess they could stand to add one more gritty D, but nobody expensive is needed here

it will take a few years to rebuild this D, the prospects are 2 years from making the team, let's be patient and suck for another year, I'm fine with that.
