Desharnais's superb offensive flair and playmaking habilities have translated well in the NHL, althought none of the NHL's Organisations wasted a draft pick on this tiny guy when he was avallaible the CH were wise enought to signed him as a free agent and to wait his developpement.
Desharnais is an unusually crafty athlete, he knew how to make himself better in each step of the way to the NHL and I believe that this guy is not about to stop improving as a player now that he is just getting confortable playing in this league.
As is, Desharnais is already our first wave PP centerman because of his top notch set-up skills yet I imagine him working on is face-offs skills and shots this summer in order to make himself even better in that role.
Based on that I see him collecting more points overall next season.

HS: Le CH nomme Scott Mellanby directeur du personnel des joueurs. Je suis sûr qu’un francophone aurait pu faire l’affaire. Mellanby a beau venir de Montréal, il n’est pas comme nous. Nous sommes Québécois, il est Montréalais. Ce qu’on veut, nous, c’est des Tremblay, des Lavoie, des Girard, des Boisvert (oups… peut-être pas), des Latouche, etc. Quel enfoiré, ce Bergevin.
