what's interesting is Brayden Schenn is ranked second overall in top propects in the league only to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Maybe I'm alone on this but I was extremely impressed with Schenn's second half of the season. I thought he was great from the Winter Classic and on (Including the playoffs).

The kid in Colorado is better imo Landeskog.

A lot of D in this year's draft. Griffin Reinhart looks like a guy everyone might be interested in, even though Ryan Murray could be NHL ready right now.

Overall record in the playoffs is irrelevant. I've explained it to you before how the playoffs work. I'll do it again. You have to win 4 out of 7 in a Series to win the Series. You can be 16 and 12 and win the Stanley Cup. Again, a fraud of a team goes to the ECF?

Bobrovsky reminds me more of Jonathan quick in regards to the extremely quick lateral movement, butterfly style of play. Quick was once regarded as a goalie with a high level of talent but prone to giving up soft goals, and with a few seasons under his belt he surely has rounded out his game. I feel with a repleted defensive corps, and more time to develop the rest of Bob's game, he could of potentially had the same success Quick is starting to see.

i agree that it's far too early to decide what bob is and can be at the nhl level. he's very young, and has played 2 pro seasons of north american hockey under some very strange and intense circumstances. goalie take time, especially european ones, generally speaking. i'm in no rush to move him, but i wouldn't be terribly upset if they did, because they're obviously putting their eggs in the bryz basket, and they also have some decent prospects in the pipeline.

as for a comparison to quick i think that's valid, although they play a bit of a different style. quick has really developed his down low game and tracking and attacking the puck almost from a prone position. he's developed and improved his game. let's not forget he was draft eligible in 04, and not drafted until the 3rd round in 05 spending time in the echl and working his way up - so it's not as if he was some can't miss prospect. bernier was projected to be a higher end talent if i'm not mistaken. point is - you just don't know. bob has shown plenty of ability and as bill mentions a tremendous work ethic. he got off to an excellent start last year, but stagnated a bit in the 2nd half with less ice. i'd like to see what happens next year. of course, if bryz starts well, he might just plow all the way through and play his normal 65-70 games, which is not going to help bob develop his game that much.

obviously the flyers would like to spend around half of what they're paying bob for the backup spot, but it's a small amount of money percentage-wise out of their overall budget. that shouldn't be the reason they look to move him.

It's hard enough knowing this series is still going on. Will New Jersey please put an end to this tonight?

I'm currently looking around but is there a current list of the top draft choices of this year's draft? Without TSN here in the states, I'm complete clueless as to what's going on at all.

The Flyers will not have a shot at either without moving into the top 10 for Reinhart & top 5 for Murray.

Take a look at Matt Finn, Slater Koekkoek, Hampus Lindolm, Brady Skjei, Derrick Pouliot, Ludvig Bystrom, & Dalton Thrower for d-men the Flyers have a better shot at drafting.

Forwards I'd also like would be Zemgus Girgensons (heading to Vermont), Pontus Aberg (just signed a new 2yr deal to stay in Sweden), Tom Wilson, Henrik Samuelsson, Nicolas Kerdiles, Scott Laughton, & Colton Sissons
