I was a Thomas fan, know he was only on the team a few years but he was awesome. Could use someone like him right now!

That whole 93 team... i dont think there was a single guy on that team i didnt like... i didnt appriciate Uwe Krupp at all, but i would kill for him to be on this team now.

If it weren't for Uwe Krupp, we might have drafted Jagr and the Penguins might have drafted Scissons. Thinking about it...even if we drafted in front of them, we probably still would have (frank)ed it up. |

you know...I should have been thinking about the team that lost to the Rangers ('90 or '91, maybe?). I was thinking '93, because I remember the trade spurred them on to the playoffs. My bad.
Yep it 1990. Should have known that just for the simple reason of the 5-on-5 fight at the end of Game 1, when James Patrick elbowed LaFontaine in chin in the 3rd period of that game, and the great Rangers fans tried to flip over the ambulance on its way out from under the Garden. The sight of Baumgartner beating Kris King's ass and Vukota beating up Blomberg while laughing his ass off was all I had going for me that night.

I think we would have screwed it up, For as good as he was Torrey had a few really bad drafts in a row...
1987: Dean Chynoweth (13th overall)
1988: Kevin Cheveldayoff (16th overall)
1989: David Chyzowski (2nd overall)
1990: Scott Scissons (6th overall)

The Devils win their 4 Cup and the Isles should be upset. The Devils are not a team that has bought these Cups and have built through the draft. The Isles are suppose to be doing the same thing only it's no where near as successful as the Devils. |
