if someone made me choose a person to honor with anything for this season it would probably not be JT from that list. Malkin had the most points over 100 points. He had 50 goals and deserves any honor he gets mainly b/c he is usually in El Cindy Shadow in Pitts.... Stamkos had 60 friggin goals so not sure how he isn't the automatic choice. Giroux is probably the next best choice IMO. He had a very solid season and an even better playoff (still leading in goals and points).

JT had a great season but I reserve giving him any honors till he gets to at least a point a game... and closer to 100 points. He has shown an incredible work ethic in the off season to get to next level. I am being a jerk but I don't want him to let anything go to his head.. we did not even make the friggin playoffs. Keep working.. You have not won sht yet.

sorry.

Its a video game cover. Not sure its an "honor". Truth is, who gives a s**t who's on a video game cover? The fans do. That's it. Since the poll or vote or whatever it is is fan-driven, whoever they vote for should be on the cover, since its the fans that wind up buying the games anyway.

I have never seen more friggin tweets from more NHL players in my life on one thing than this stupid cover. Is it an Honor... well it must mean something to them.. as far as who gives a sht? I have not played a video game since Super Techno bowl... so not me.

Me neither. I can't remember the last time I played a video game, much less NHL. The NHL franchise peaked in 93, when JR and Chelios had unstoppable slapshots over goaltenders' gloves from the blue line.

You got that right...islanderpointblank has a good article on possible trade scenarios the ISlanders could do with the #4 pick....

hahah....all you had to do was that extended wrap-around from behind the net to about the faceoff dot and it was a guaranteed goal. Chicago was beastly in that game...Roenick, Savard, Larmer, Chelios, Belfour in net.

UIF....no mistake on McDonough. One of my favorite unsung players on that '93 team. Big trade that was to get him and the Baumer in one svelte swoop.
