I love JT. He is a fantastic player with some inhuman hands. I'd give up many things to get him, but I think it will be Giroux versus JT in the last round, then Giroux will win it.

If anybody votes for Malkins ugly face on the cover I will be so pissed... and if it ends up being JT against Malkin I vote Jt

I don't think it's based on the team? Tavares is probably one of the most impressive players I've seen in I don't even know how long? it wouldn't be outrageous for him to be on that cover whether the Islanders are a joke or not.

I think it would be terrible for an islander on the cover. I think that whoever wins MVP should be on the cover, not a kid who plays for a joke of a team. Im not just saying that because im a rangers fan, I truly thought that Karlsson or Pasha shouldve won it

I cant believe there are actually negative comments on here about him making the cover. Does it mean anything for the actual team on the ice? No. Its just a little side perk and would make me feel a little more honored knowing a player on my favorite team of all sports made the it to the cover of a popular video game. Its a pretty cool thing. Islanders fan are having a tough time watching this organization but at least this gives me a little reason to smile.

When I was a kid, for some reason McDonough was an outright hockey god in my mind who could do no wrong on the ice.

I also remember a guy a few rows in front of us who used to shout "HUUUUUBBBIIIIIEEEEE!!" at every game.

if someone made me choose a person to honor with anything for this season it would probably not be JT from that list. Malkin had the most points over 100 points. He had 50 goals and deserves any honor he gets mainly b/c he is usually in El Cindy Shadow in Pitts.... Stamkos had 60 friggin goals so not sure how he isn't the automatic choice. Giroux is probably the next best choice IMO. He had a very solid season and an even better playoff (still leading in goals and points).

JT had a great season but I reserve giving him any honors till he gets to at least a point a game... and closer to 100 points. He has shown an incredible work ethic in the off season to get to next level. I am being a jerk but I don't want him to let anything go to his head.. we did not even make the friggin playoffs. Keep working.. You have not won sht yet.
